We are looking for a talented, motivated and experienced Graphic Designer to join us.
You will be working alongside our small, close-knit team and also directly with our clients.
You will need to be –
Experienced at taking, questioning and understanding briefs and comfortable presenting your ideas.
Comfortable nurturing jobs through from concepts to finished artwork.
Be able to demonstrate confidence and expertise in branding work.
Highly focused with a sense of responsibility & ownership over everything you are involved with.
Able to work under your own initiative whilst effectively managing workloads and client timescales.
Someone who takes responsibility for their work but is also a conscientious team player who can work collaboratively and contribute ideas and design direction to all projects.
Expected skills and attributes –
Extensive skills and knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
Happy to be responsible for producing engaging print and digital materials that showcase high levels of creativity, finesse and understanding as you will create works from scratch, work from guidelines and roll out work across a suite of formats.
A deep affinity with layout and typography.
Be comfortable in reworking a core creative into a variety of multi-media solutions.
A strong understanding of the print production process.
Have experience designing effective, creative solutions for all consumer and customer touch points such, including packaging and POS, print communication and digital.
An understanding of social specifications, digital best practice, and user experience – web design experience an advantage.
Ability to lead a project from concept to completion and handle multiple projects under tight deadlines with accuracy and calm.
A flexible mindset and as well as being highly creative also be super organised.
The ability to build strong and effective working relationships with clients.
Flexibility to assist in the direction of internal and external projects and campaigns, acting as the brand point-person for consistency in brand identity and design execution for our clients and also for Firebrand itself.
Have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in design/advertising/marketing sectors.
This role will be mainly office based with hybrid remote working by discussion.
